Like the other posted review, I was expecting to get Win 7 Pro with this machine. It's not in the box, there's no coupon or explanation, and the webiste has zero information as well. D'oh! I have an e-mail in to ASUS tech service to see if I can get my disk. I will be VERY bummed if I have to fork out another $200 to get the software!
Other than that the machine is pretty cool. Because it has ports / vents on all edges, it won't look quite as sexy in use as the shots you see online.
Opening the case to upgrade RAM is scary (though do-able) and not documented at all. I was expecting that the machine had 1 2gb card in one slot, so I only ordered a single 2gb upgrade card. Turns out is has 2 1gb cards, so getting to 4gb required ordering another 2gb card... The hard-drive is super-easy to replace with it's own external door.
If the software thing works out I'd give this four stars.
